After backing up your data, you may wish to check and verify that your important files have been backed up properly.

1. Open Safari or a web browser on any device, and go to https://icloud.com 

Key in your school Managed Apple ID (@appleid.scgs.moe.edu.sg) and sign in. If you have forgotten your Apple ID or password, please request for a reset at https://scgssict.freshdesk.com/support/tickets/new

2. You will be asked for a Verification Code. This code is sent out by the ICT Department. Request for a verification code at https://scgssict.freshdesk.com/support/tickets/new



3. The verification code will be sent to your Student iCON email inbox (@students.edu.sg).


This verification code is valid for a year, so you can use it again to login subsequently whenever prompted.

4. After keying in the code, you may be prompted to trust the device you are using. Click on Trust if this iPad/device is one that belongs to you. If not, click on Do not trust.


5. After logging in, you will be able to view photos and notes that have been saved to iCloud. Click on Drive to see your files.


6. If backed up properly, your files will appear in iCloud Drive and can be accessed from any device through the internet.


7. Remember to also tap on the dots, then Photos or Notes to view your photos and videos and notes as well.




If you are not able to view any files, please follow the steps in Backing up data to iCloud again.
