What happens when my Apple Pencil is not responsive? Here are a few ways to solve the problem...
Charge the Apple Pencil
- Make sure the Apple Pencil is charged by placing it into the lightning port of the iPad.
- If the pencil is unable to charge, try charging with a wall adaptor.
Make sure that the Bluetooth is turned on
- Check if Bluetooth is turned on by going to Settings>Bluetooth. If you already see the Pencil as a recognized device in the Bluetooth settings, then select the information icon, and choose to <Forget this Device>.
- Try plugging in the Apple Pencil and reconnect it again and it should turn up in the settings.
