If you have downloaded too many apps in your iPad and you need help removing them, do raise a ticket at https://scgssict.freshdesk.com/support/tickets/new
There are three types of apps in the device, and we can only remove apps for one level for you.
Level 1: iPad Base Apps
These are apps which come by default with the iPad, such as Safari, Photos, Camera, etc. These apps cannot be deleted or removed.
Level 2: Department-Deployed Apps
These are apps which the various departments have decided should be installed in the iPad. The list of apps is reviewed periodically, however, we will not be able to remove apps at this level for you. E.g. Straits Times, SL Education, Garageband, etc.
Level 3: Self-Installed Apps
These are apps which you have self-installed from the MG Self-Install Catalogue or installed on your own. These apps can be removed upon request through Freshdesk.
App deletion will happen the moment we get to your ticket, so do ensure that any files or data from the app has been backed up beforehand. If the app has not been removed, pressing sync in Mobile Guardian or restarting the device may expedite the process.
Tapping Sync in the Mobile Guardian app ensures the iPad receives the latest commands.
