Dear Students,
We are currently working with Apple to diagnose and investigate this issue, however, if your notes/files are going missing in iCloud Drive, please submit a ticket here for us to help you.
Please try the following steps to recover your files:
1. Open Safari or a web browser on any device, and go to https://icloud.com
Key in your school Managed Apple ID (@appleid.scgs.moe.edu.sg) and sign in. If you have forgotten your Apple ID or password, please request for a reset at https://scgssict.freshdesk.com/support/tickets/new
2. When logging in, you may be prompted for a Verification Code. If needed, request for a new verification code at https://scgssict.freshdesk.com/support/tickets/new
3. The verification code will be sent to your Student iCON email inbox (@students.edu.sg).
4. After keying in the code, you may be prompted to trust the device you are using. Click on Trust if this iPad/device is one that belongs to you. If not, click on Do not trust.
5. After logging in, you will be able to view photos and notes that have been saved to iCloud. Click on the Profile icon at the top right corner, then click on iCloud Settings:
6. Click on Data Recovery.
7. Click on Restore Files. Any files that you wish to recover will appear here. You can also click on Restore All to get all your files back.
